About Us

Teague's Home for Women, previously known as Green's Home for women, is a non-profit organization providing shelter, emergency housing, and temporary housing for women.

Established in the late 1980s by Founder Alberta Green, whom had a true, undying passion for helping women who were unable to help themselves. She was under the belief that if a woman was given a step up in life, they would be able to continue to ascend.

Well respected and with strong ties in the community, Ms. Green was able to grow and make a huge impact on all people involved in the effort.
